If you like to have a drink ever so often, leave your money out of the casino if you set out to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Clean out your handbag, your wallet, and keep all cash, plastic credit and checkbooks out of the casino. Grab only the money you expect to spend on alcohol, tipping and only the pocket change you expect to squander and keep the rest behind.

Cynical? Not really. Just realistic. You can have a win following a drunken night out with your compatriots and be blessed sufficiently to hook a marathon toss at a hot craps game. Don’t forget that story because it’s as brief as it gets if you continually consume alcohol and wager. The two just don’t mix.

Leaving your moolah back at the hotel is a tiny bit excessive, but preventative actions for drastic behavior is necessary. If you play to profit, then do not drink and gamble. If you like to burn your $$$$ without a concern, then drink all the gratis booze you are able to handle, but do not pack plastic credit and chequebooks to throw into the mix of going after squanderings after your drunken brain loses all the cash!

Allow me to carry this a single step more. Don’t drink and then hop on the web to wager in your best-liked casino either. I enjoy a cocktail from the comfort of my abode, however considering that I am connected through Neteller, Firepay and keep credit cards in close proximity, I can’t drink and gamble.

How come? Although I don’t drink a lot, when I drink, it’s absolutely sufficient to blur my judgment. I gamble, so I do not drink when wagering. If you are a drinker, don’t wager when you do. When mixed, both create a dangerous, and expensive, drink.
