If you enjoy a beer ever so often, leave your cash out of the casino if you are going to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Empty your purse, your wallet, and leave all cash, plastic credit and checks at home. Pack only the money you intend to spend on alcohol, tips and only the pocket change you intend to squander and leave the remainder behind.

Pessimistic? Absolutely not. Just realistic. You can have a win after a drunken night out with your acquaintances and be blessed enough to hook a 25 minute toss at a hot craps game. Keep that adventure because it’s as brief as it gets if you continuously drink alcohol and wager. The two just do not mix.

Leaving your cash back at the hotel might be a little bit dramatic, but defensive actions for dramatic behavior is required. If you bet to succeed, then don’t drink alcohol and bet. If you are able to afford to throw away your money nary a worry, then drink all the complimentary booze you are able to handle, but do not carry credit cards and checkbooks to toss into the mix of going after squanderings after your dead drunk head squanders every little thing!

Allow me to take this one step further. Don’t consume alcohol and then jump online to bet in your favorite casino either. I enjoy a cocktail from the comfort of my home, however seeing that I am linked up through Neteller, Firepay and have charge cards near by, I can’t consume alcohol and wager.

Why? Even though I do not drink to excess, when I drink, it is certainly sufficient to cloud my common sense. I gamble, so I don’t drink when wagering. If you are a drinker, don’t bet when you do. Both create a ferocious, and costly, drink.
